This excess skin can advance to the thigh and buttocks too but whether these parts of the body are affected depends on where the scars are positioned after the lower body lift surgery. It must be highlighted that lower body lift surgery in an extensive procedure, therefore it isn’t recommended that the surgery is combined with another form of surgery such as a thigh lift or gluteal augmentation. There are case studies shown in the video to show how the lower body lift surgery affects the thighs and buttocks. Because the surgery takes place around the waist area, it tends to affect the upper thigh more than the mid-lower thigh region which is shown in the case studies provided. However, the case studies are an example of how visible excess skin can be improved through a lower body lift surgery.
