A neck lift is a procedure that can either be performed through an incision under the neck or through an incision around the hairline. In patients with significant jowls and excess of tissue a full facelift and neck lift incision is often preferable as in this case. Repositioning of the facial tissue higher in combination with neck muscle tightening can lead to an improved contour which can be long lasting.
