This lady has previously had breast augmentation and mastopexy performed elsewhere. She wished to remove her breast implants and used the fat from the abdominoplasty as a means of providing fat transfer for the upper pole of her breasts. As she had large volume breast implants previously the excess skin was tightened with classic mastopexy incisions. A mummy makeover which involves the rejuvenation of the breasts and the body at the same can allow rejuvenation of both areas in combination in carefully selected individuals. The results are seen at 3 months postop.
When considering breast surgery alongside abdominal rejuvenation surgery or as part of a mommy makeover package it is very important that you are at your ideal weight and that you are fit and it is deemed safe to proceed with such a combination surgery.
When considering abdominal rejuvenation surgery it is important to consider all the various options which may include abdominoplasty, mini abdominoplasty, fleur de lis abdominoplasty, bodylifting and liposuction.
When considering breast rejuvenation this lady opted for volume enhancement with breast implants/ breast lift rather than considering autologous fat transfer.
