This lady has completed her family and wished to get back the upper volume she once in combination with a lift of her nipple areola complex. She did not wish to have a full mastopexy scar. In this scenario where the nipple needs to be lifted around 2-3cm a periareola lift in combination with high projected anatomical implants can often achieve a suitable result without the need for a vertical scar. Where excessive volume is not required and the amount of nipple lift is around 2cm a periaroela lift performed in this manner can give scars that are very acceptable without the stretched appearance that can occur.
