This lady has lost an excessive amount of weight and her footplate has dropped along with her breast and skin. The upper abdomen has been placed into the breast using the inframammary crease scar, which is clearly visible at 6 weeks. The vertical scar in combination with the inframammary scar and the periareola scar has been used to tighten the skin. Autologous fat has been injected into the upper pole to try and improve the emptiness. The postop pictures are seen at 6 weeks. The scars will continue to soften. The final results from fat transfer can only be determined at the 6-12 months period as some of the fat will resorb during this time.
