Mastopexy Case Study 20

This lady has had a mastopexy using a periareola scar, a vertical scar and a horizontal scar. This is often called an anchor incision. By using an anchor incision, the crease scar can be positioned higher on the chest wall and can help to maintain the crease higher. The scars in the crease heal well and are very rarely a problem. The vertical and periareola scars will heal well if they are closed under minimal tension.
