This patient has had many previous abdominal surgeries, she has a lot of excess skin and required abdominal tightening and liposuction. This lady wished to try and remove as much fat and excess skin as possible and was not concerned about the possibility of a vertical line that is required for a fleur de lis abdominoplasty. A Fleur de Lis abdominoplasty allows one to remove more skin and tighten the flanks and waist more than a standard tummy tuck. The results are seen after 6 months and it will still take some time for the scars to settle.
