It’s not designed to treat wrinkles, but can be combined with dermal filler treatments should this issue need addressing.
What age should you consider blepharoplasty surgery?
Most patients undergoing eye lid rejuvenation procedures are over 40, or those with noticeable skin laxity above or below the eyes.
What happens during eyelid rejuvenation surgery?
Each procedure is different, but the universal goal is to reduce excess skin and creating a smoother appearance. Incisions are made and excess fat or skin is removed before the wound is closed.

Is eyelid rejuvenation surgery safe?
All cosmetic surgery comes with some risk. Most patients are satisfied with the results of their upper blepharoplasty surgery and/or lower blepharoplasty surgery, but there are risks associated.
Patients will noticed swelling and bruising around the eyes in the days and weeks after surgery. You will be told about any risk or complications during your consultation.
How long does it take to recover from this procedure?
An overnight stay in hospital is likely. You will require some time off work to recover, and should avoid exercise initially.
Your surgeon will give you advice on how best to recover from upper blepharoplasty surgery or lower blepharoplasty surgery.
