Our patient opted for anatomical breast implants placed above the muscle to fix nipples that sat low on the breast. This type of implant overfills the lower pole, helping to lift the nipple areola complex without the need for a formal lift.
Bio dimensionally breast implants should fit the width of the chest wall although each of the width, height and projection can all be altered slightly to provide differing volumes and results. For this patient, a mastopexy breast lift wasn’t required, but all patients need to be aware that with time and changes to the skin, a formal breast lift may be required at a later date.
